   Patrolman Francis Castor was killed in a single-vehicle accident while at Forest Park.

   It was believed that he was attempting to chase a speeding vehicle when he struck the rear of another vehicle. Patrolman Castor was thrown from his motorcycle, suffering severe head and neck injuries and died at the scene.

   Patrolman Castor was survived by his wife, six sisters and mother.
