Sergeant Steven Singer was killed in a two-vehicle accident while assigned to the City-County Drug Task Force.

   He was riding eastbound with a confidential informant when a van turned from a parking lot in front of his motorcycle, causing a collision. Sergeant Singer and the 28-year-old female informant were both killed.

   Sergeant Singer was survived by his son, two daughters, two sisters, parents and maternal grandparents.
