   Lieutenant Earl Flamion was killed in a two-vehicle accident about a mile north of Tell City on State Road 66 while en route to work.

   An oncoming car sideswiped his southbound squad car. Lieutenant Flamion was transported to Perry County Memorial Hospital where he was dead on arrival.

   Lieutenant Flamion, from Troy, also served as the Troy town marshal. He was survived by his wife, daughter, son and brother.
